Comments: I was pleased to chance across this page. It was nice to read about a PCV teacher Ken Marr now in Inunklaw, WA that I missed narrowly in Navasco. I entered Navasco in 1977 to read Science and heard a lot about Ken who had had just left! I would alos like to hear from my O'level chemistry teacher Mark Killen (1967/77) in Yendi Secondary. Keep up the good work!!

Comments: I was a volunteer at Navasco back in the dim and distant past, in 1966. I had a great time there, and have alwys wanted to go back, though I guess it must have changed a lot since then. The nearest I got was Nigeria, back in the 1970s. I was especially happy to be reminded about Pito - we used to go to a compound called Blackpool (for a rason I never knew) Anyway, keep up the good work - I loved the map.

Comments: This is an excellent website! I am glad to see that there are visitors to Ghana who are interested in the northern part of the country. Good work! My favorite page is, well, ALL OF THEM! I, however, would like to make a slight commemt on the rubber/plastic "bathroom" slippers you mentioned. They are actually called "Charlie Worte", with a strong emphasis on the (e) which sounds more like an A. You had the translation right, but "worte" is not Twi, but Ga; the language spoken in the Greater Accra area. So, if you can suffer this correction to an otherwise superb web-page, I would like to say "wu a ya diee"-well done in Twi.

Once I get some of my slides scanned, I will e-mail you a few. I will be returning to northern Ghana in December to shoot the second half of a documentary about Ghana. Part One will be shot in September of this year. Visit my web site and you will find some interesting photos of West African countries. Excellent page. I intend to put in a link from mine if you don't have any objections. "Medasi" for the fond memories. Bob Burch
